Question 1

Do I need to pass my Theory Test before starting lessons?

Accepted Answer

No, you can start your practical lessons as soon as you have your provisional license. Many students find that learning to drive actually helps them understand the theory better.

Question 2

What do I need to bring to my first lesson?

Accepted Answer

You must bring your provisional driving license. If you need glasses or contact lenses to read a number plate from 20 meters, please make sure you are wearing them.

Question 3

Will I actually drive on my first lesson?

Accepted Answer

YES! After a talk through the controls, and after arriving to a suitable practice area. You are in control of the vehicle- Taking your first steps in to your driving journey!

Question 4

I am incredibly anxious about driving. Can you help?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Thanks to my background working as a key worker with young people, I am highly experienced in managing anxiety and tailoring lessons to build your confidence step-by-step.

Question 5

I’ve had a bad experience with a stressful instructor before. How are your lessons structured?

Accepted Answer

I understand how discouraging a bad experience can be. Before becoming a PDI, I spent years working as a specialist key worker helping NEET youth (young people not in education, employment, or training). That background taught me that patience, active listening, and adaptability are just as important as knowing how to drive. My car is a calm, zero-shouting zone. We move at your pace, breaking down complex skills into manageable steps so you never feel overwhelmed.
